Favorite Beer in Savannah
I can really only review the beer since I didn't eat here. A few friends of ours did and they loved it. HIGHLY recommend the Chocolate Doughnut Stout. Life changing.

We love Moon River Brewery! Everytime we go the service is great! Especially the bartenders! You are able to get your drink to go and sit outside if you would like. We loved the beer sampler because they had a wide variety. We even tried the Live Yeast beer. I would also like to say to the comment above that they serve both warm and cold beer because not all beers are meant to be served cold. Also if you were charged for your peppers that they did not have that was your servers and your fault. We love this place and make a point to go. Great food, great beer, great atmosphere! We recomend the Savannah Fest!!

The food is awesome!!!!
I went here to take a break from sightseeing thinking I would get a little something but the menu had some really wonderful looking items. I got the fish sandwich which was huge and the flavor was even bigger. I enjoyed my meal so much I found out they offer delivery through a delivery service called 912food2go.com and I had their food delivered to my hotel for dinner. I got the crab cakes and they were full of crab, absolutely delicious.

This place was horrable, we had 4 sets of silverwere with dried food on it and the blackened chicken tasted like burnt chile power and seasonal, i could'nt even eat it. the rest of our food was to salty, and some of the items on the menu they didnt even have.

Ordered a beer sampler. Beer was warm. Ordered a black and blue burger with bacon and roasted red peppers (bacon and peppers were an additional charge). Asked for the burger medium, it was cooked well done. Bacon was burnt to a crisp. The kitchen was out of peppers, but I was charged for them anyway. The server, Amy, was terrific, she did her job extremely well. Even though the service was great, I would rather stick sharpened pencils in my eye than ever eat at this restaurant again.

My daughter and I ate lunch there in June '05. The food was great, especially the crab cakes. I definitely plan to go back!

What a fun place!! We stopped for a beer, stayed for lunch, met some friends after and wound up spending 5 hours in here--we just loved the friendliness of the place, the great old building it's housed in and the wonderful wall decorations. This is just a great spot to take a break from all the walking Savannah affords---plus the ales they create are wonderful!!
