HISTORIC DISTRICT. The second incarnation of this familiar restaurant returns it to a place of prestige. Still devoted to organic ingredients, Cha Bella not only follows the latest culinary trends but kicks them up a notch, delivering well-prepared, inventive dishes that have diners sharing news of their fabulous experiences. On the menu: seafood pasta with exemplary freshness on all fronts, a scrumptious pan-seared beef filet with mushroom demi-glace (add foie gras for amped-up decadence), and Georgia white shrimp risotto with asparagus and a tarragon pan sauce. You'll be calling your friends too! (© 10Best) You can taste the freshness of the nearly all organic menu in Cha Bella's dishes, such as the daily risotto, which, when we visited, was a buttery masterpiece packed with shredded pork, tomatoes, and fragrant thyme. We also devoured a flaky halibut dish complemented by a spicy apricot sauce, mashed potatoes, sweet corn, carrots, grapes, and green beans. Dinner ended with a warm oatmeal-and-chocolate-chip cookie sandwich filled with vanilla ice cream.
