Fine Italian in Savannah
Great winelist and good variety of fine Italian food on the menu. Waiter was very knowledgeable about Italian wines. Service was prompt and food was top-notch. If you like good Italian food (not a pizza and spaghetti joint), especially Italian seafood paired with the right wine, you'll really like this place.

Wonderful Experience
I dined here on April 24, 2009. It was a delightful experience. I had the ravioli special of the evening. The servers were attentive. Dining was well-paced, certainly didn't feel like cattle. The food was exquisite. This was my first visit to Savannah. I will tell anyone whoe is planning a trip to Savannah that this establishment is not to be missed!

Went on V-day and was beyond unsatisfied. In fact, I'm really not sure why we didn't just get up and leave. The fixed menu was really just steaks, which my boyfriend doesn't even like. Nothing was under $45 and I couln't even subsitute mashed potates for boiled! I felt like cattle, the goal was to get as many people in and out as possible. The food was mediocre and the service was terrible, and it included a 20% gratuity for 2! We don't mind spending $200 for a meal, but I do expect great service for that cost. TERRIBLE!!!!

Mediocre service. Very mediocre food. Priced way too high for the quality. There were four people in our party. Four different entrees were ordered. Each of us left disappointed. If you are visiting Savannah, visit Elizabeth on 37th or The Pink House. We have been to each a few times and have been very pleased. Make Il Pastaccio your last resort.

My husband and I have eaten at Il Pasticcio for years and loved it every time! Not too much has changed as many in Savannah will tell you that good things here are treasured and preserved. After almost seven years we still get the same excellent food and the same gracious service. A great place to see and be seen while enjoying the unique ambiance of a beautiful southern city.

My boyfriend and I ate at this restaurant on Valentine's Day and the prices were double what they usually are. On a normal day they only add 20% gratuity to parties of 6 or more but they added that to our ticket when there were only two of us. The food was not even close to being worth what we paid for it. We walked out of their paying $186 for two meals and four drinks. Nothing on their `Special Valentines Day Menu` was priced under $45. So all and all I WOULD NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone especially on a holiday!!!!

This restaurant was over-rated by the 10best review. Although the food was not bad, it certainly did not deserve top ten status. The service matched the taste of the food - mediocre…
