HISTORIC DISTRICT.   Olde Pink House is where Savannah's elite go to eat, and the food, expectedly enough, is fantastic! Seafood and Southern fare are at the forefront, as proven by she-crab soup, Caesar salad with fried oysters, and all sorts of fresh fish, from flounder to trout. Try grouper with blue crab in Vidalia onion sauce, or go for one of the delicious pork, duck, and veal dishes. The special dessert is sweet ice cream in a praline basket – nothing more needs to be said about that! Downstairs, Olde Pink House boasts the cozy Planters Tavern, which features live music on Saturday nights.   (© 10Best)

You have to order the shrimp and grits and the she crab soup in this fancy 1771 house. (from Southern Living)

Top Notch!
My wife and I were going to Savannah to celebrate our 30th anniversary so I had called ahead to make reservation. The week before arriving I sent an email to confirm and ask if they could make this a special night for my wife. The evening was perfect with the assistant manager taking time with us, having a girl come and sing at our table, bringing a "happy anniversary" plate with candle to our table and definitely going out of her way to make this a special evening. When we left we both got a hug and felt a "part of the family". Also, I am from the south but have to say that they had the best collard greens I have ever eaten. (sorry Mom, I hope you don't read this review) Wayne from NC

This is a must visit place when in Savannah. My boyfriend said we should go because of the reviews. OMG!!!! Everything they said to try, we did!IWe highly recommend it. We tried the She-crab soup, the caesar salad with the oysters. If you love seafood, you'll love this place. For our entrees, he had the special and I tried the yellow-fin Tuna.At first i was a little hesitant when the waiter suggested it raw to medium raw. But if you can eat sushi, you can eat this. It was perfect the way he suggested. And the dessert was unbelievable. The service was excellent and our waiter was very professional. The food was incredible! We will definitely eat there everytime we visit!
