TYBEE ISLAND.   Nope, you won't find Ally Sheedy or Judd Nelson here – this place has been around way longer than the '80s movie they starred in. That's given it a long time to gain a loyal clientele, and popular it is. You'll have to get up early to avoid waiting in line! The eatery is a favorite of locals, and once tourists discover it, they're addicted, too. Chef Jodee Sadowsky serves wonderful dishes like shrimp and grits, omelets, eggs and sausage, waffles, corned beef hash, steak and eggs, and the house specialty, egg florentine (poached, with spinach, mushrooms, and melted Swiss). Good dining, good food, great service!! If you're looking, if you're searching for a good, casual start the day dining experience, this eatery is THE place for you!! Excellent eats served by a talented, friendly staff is what they offer, and is what you'll get, yes indeed. Their Solidarity, and Chicago Bear Burger are to DIE for!! YUM, YUM!!! So, all you folks who want to start the day with a smile, GO FOR IT!!! Yes, you have to wait, but, take my word for this, tis very much worth it. Hooray, Hurrah, Breakfast Club!!
