HISTORIC DISTRICT.   This charming cafe makes for a popular breakfast and lunch spot. The morning menu features egg sandwiches, oatmeal, waffles, and a variety of bagels and spreads, plus fresh fruit and a host of coffee drinks. Lunch delivers soups, quiches, sandwiches, and salads. Follow up with a big cookie, a slice of decadent cake, or a dish of comforting bread pudding. Croissants, pastries, breads, and muffins are also delicious pick-me-ups. We went in on a Sunday Morning before Church had let out. There were only 5 other people inside the restaraunt and it took them over an HOUR to bring our Eggs Benedict and Croissant Egg sandwich. While the price was moderate and the food very good, if you can wait an HOUR for your food, then we recommend this place. Just be sure to remind the staff about your order, in case they forget about you as well.

The best breakfast in downtown Savannah. Friendly service and atmosphere. Great value.

The baked goods are to die for. The bread pudding is something every visitor to Savannah should experience, even if they don't like bread pudding.
