The Buzz -- This festival's lineup is always a pleasant surprise and belies the low-key atmosphere and relatively small crowds. Many music fans set up camp on the polo field for the two-day extravaganza of tunes. Blues, Southern rock, jazz, reggae, and zydeco make for a pleasing sonic amalgam. Past headliners have included Los Lobos, Johnny Lang, the Marshall Tucker Band, and the Black Crowes. Families are welcome, and a special kids' area caters to the whims of little ones. For a laid-back weekend of quality music, MMMF is a great bet. |
