5. Fountain Hills Festival of Arts & Crafts

The Buzz -- Famous for its 560-foot-high fountain, the small community of Fountain Hills also hosts this annual festival that brings approximately 150,000 visitors to town. Artists' booths line the pleasant Avenue of Fountains and offer an amazing variety of pieces for sale, including paintings, sculpture, and an assortment of crafts. Plenty of food is available, from sweet treats like kettle corn to more substantive fare. Musical performances take place throughout the festival, and recordings are usually available for purchase.
