3. La Locanda

The tiny space and frenetic atmosphere are toppings on an otherwise excellent dining experience. The food is imaginative and top-shelf Italian-style fare. The value is good, except when it comes to the bar - as is true of so many Scottsdale restaurants these days. Arrive early, have reservations, be prepared to wait for your table in a microscopic bar, but the food is worth it.
