very unique experience
we'd visited the houdini museum in scranton on my fiancee's suggestion during a weekend trip to her vacation home in the poconos. i'm more than glad that we did. what started out as a treat for my 11 year old future step-son was a huge treat for us all! from floor to ceiling, this "raw form" museum is drenched in nostalgia and houdini memorabilia from ages ago. the propreitors were fantastic. Dick Brooks(Johnny Bravo) is a unique and colorful character to say the least. his magical skills are equaled by his comical wit. he's a schmoozer for sure. Dorothy Dietrich is the same and equally great magician.
the shows on houdini were fascinating.
we would definitely return there no doubt.

The website lured me but what a wonderful experience. Afternoon show is great for all ages. This museum is full of knowledge, entertainment, and personality. We got our money's worth here. We'll attend the evening show on our next visit to Scranton.

The show was a mixture of showmanship, magic and comedy. The magic was outstanding and the comedy kept everyone in stitches. A great place to take the kids. However, I heard they also have other shows such as victorian seances which I plan to attend since the magic show was so much fun. Highly recommended !!
