3. Merli-Sarnoski Park

Very beautiful many improvments from when I was a kid.....Take my dog there every day.....

This park consists of 840 acres including a 35 acre lake. It has about sixteen miles of ungroomed but well blazed trails for hiking, biking and horseback riding. It has a picnic area and supervised swimming area. The lake has a boat launch (no gas powered boats) and a handicapped accessible fishing pier. It is stocked yearly with trout and also contains bass, bullhead and pan fish. It has a large soccer field which is used by area leagues. Playground equipment for small children is very limited. There are group campsites available for organized groups. Advance reservations are required.

Great bike trails. Fun and challenging.

Great little lake with mountain bike trails! Near local tavern, motel and golf course.
