5. Alfredo's Pizza Cafe

SOUTH SCRANTON.   Although it bills itself as a "pizza cafe," Alfredo's offers much more than just top-notch pies. On the menu, you'll also find imported pastas dressed with tomato pepper sauce, pesto, and even vodka sauce. Salads, hot and cold subs, calzones, and wraps also find a place, and a few steak and fish entrees accommodate folks who want food with a more American slant. Really good pizza. The square is really cheesy and the round is like New York Style. I loved it and would definitely recommend it.

The prices alone in this place make it ridiculous! Although the quality of the food is pretty good, even the service, as unfriendly as I've ever seen, makes Alfredo's NOT worthy of visiting.
