MOSCOW.
A short distance from Scranton, this pleasant restaurant plies diners with Italian and Continental fare. Pique your appetite with sausage-stuffed mushrooms or a shrimp cocktail, and then shift to a New York strip, broiled lobster tail, or chicken breast piccata. Additional possibilities include the day's fresh catch, veal dijon, or linguine with clam sauce. A handful of by-the-glass wines is available, and daily bar specials make for particularly affordable meals. Children can also be accommodated.

The Olde Brook Inn is a diamond in the rough. There is without a doubt something for every palate, whether it's pub food or surf and turf. After a satisfying meal you can join the bar crowd for a frosty brew, wine, or mixer. Atmosphere, fine food, and location make this a consistent favorite.

The Olde Brooke is a great place to grab a delish dinner or just a cold brew and a snack at the bar! Last time I was there we had a 2 pound cheeseburger! IT was HUGE and needless to say I couldn't finish it. A 4 out of 5.

Steaks are a must...better than Ruth's Chris Steakhouse for half the price. Prime Rib is outstanding. Can you believe a broiled lobster tail under $20? Not very pretty, but there is no skimping in the kitchen. The "bar crowd" opposite of the dining room can disrupt an intimate dinner, however.
