7. Seattle Aquarium

The displays are nice. There's a small tide pool for the kids to touch the starfish (sorry - correction, seastars). A neat overarching glass tank/display of jellyfish where you can watch the jellyfish swim over you, and the very popular octopus tank (which was a stroller traffic-jam). There's also an outdoor section where you can observe a few birds and mammals in the water. Aside from that..... Our kids are 6,4 & 2 and we were done in 20 minutes (or less). After paying almost $50 (with discount), we felt like it was money down the drain. I would have hoped to have found more than a mere entertainment/educational value of 20 minutes for that amount of money. For less money, it might be worth visiting. But my recommendation: just keep walking. It's not worth the time or the money.
