The Buzz -- Redmond is known as the \"Bicycle Capital of the Northwest,\" and for good reason since the city's passion for cycling dates back to the 1930s. This well-attended event began in 1939 and was founded as a high school fundraiser. Since then, North America's oldest annual bicycle derby has blossomed into a nationally acclaimed festival, including a parade, carnival, fireworks and other entertainment. |
