7. Salty's on Alki Beach

Salties has been living off their "Romantic view" for years, the food is decent but their are certainly much better seafood resteraunts in Seattle, the prices are very high for what you get and the service is (how to say this politely?) BAD. They evidentlly have a big business catering to local businesses parties since I have been employed by no less then 3 companies that had XMas parties and I have taken my family to a couple of Mothers day Brunch. I can say without a doubt that after being overcharged for poor....Bad?.....TERRIBLE!! service on multiple occasions not only do I not recomend Salties I will go out of my way to let my friends know of their shortcomings.

As a regular customer of Salty's I've had the pleasure of sitting in every section of the restaurant. The view is beautiful no matter where you sit. The hostess and greeters are very friendly and helpful even when it's very busy. I can always trust the food is good. I like how they change the menus a lot even though I really miss the crab artichoke dip and the escargot from years ago. And yes, it's pricey but hey, you're paying for the romantic view.
