4. Lobster Shop – Dash Point

TACOMA.   This waterside restaurant on Tacoma's Dash Point dates from the late '70s, when a local entrepreneur converted a former grocery store into a small seafood restaurant. Thanks largely to word of mouth, the business expanded and he was able to open a second location at the Port of Tacoma. Over the years, the menu has grown and the venues have gotten nicer, but the quality cooking is still there. Dishes like Australian rock lobster tail with sweet cream butter, crab cakes and tiger prawns, and breaded, pan-fried canal oysters earn raves.   (© 10Best)

It used to be a good place to dine but it isn't anymore. My husband and I have been going here for many years. But it has changed. The service was terrible. We had 8:00 reservation for a large group of people. The waitress seemed very put out by the large group and messed up on our orders several times. The lobster was tough. We asked to have separate bills but they would not accomadate us. If we had made reservations for 5 separate tables we would of all had separate bills. We will not be going there again.
