About 10Best's Seattle Restaurants Selections:

Drawing on its natural resources, waterside location and commitment to environmentalism, Seattle cultivates a unique dining scene that's innovative and fresh, urban and luxurious. Fish caught daily from nearby waters and produce purchased at local markets appear on the menu in many of the city's restaurants. Located by famous Pike Place Market, Matt's in the Market creates delectable plates from the neighborhood's selection of fresh seafood, meats and veggies. Every few city blocks, a coffee shop beckons folks with shelter from the rain, rich lattes and shots of espresso. In addition to numerous Starbucks Coffee locations, the city houses regional and independently owned coffee shops, such as Tully's Coffee, who roast their own beans in-house. Among other highlights on the dining scene are a handful of restaurants with cutting-edge chefs and casual, modern digs, such as How to Cook a Wolf in the Queen Anne neighborhood or Crush in Madison Park.

I can't believe this place has been around for 5 years and we just discovered it!! Anthony is an amazing chef who has a great voice to boot! Wait for the traveling chalkboard to hear the specials (although the meatballs on the menu are wonderful and tender). The ricotta cheesecake is undescribable, find room for it, you'll be happy you did.

I ate at Dukes on Lake Union on June 24, a Tuesday night. The waitress was amazing! She was right on time with her service and reccomendations, the Blueberry & Goat Cheese on the Alaskan salmon was fantastic. I know it sounds a little wierd, but it was a great combo of flavors and textures. The dining room was busy but the serivce was fast and attentive.

I recently came across your site while doing a search on Google for seafood restaurants in Seattle. I noticed we are not listed in your top 10. I was surprised to see some of the restaurants listed there, but not Elliott's. Are you aware that we have one of the top chefs in the nation according to the November/December 2006 issue of Chef Magazine? Did you know that we have one of the world's largest oyster bars, and that our oyster schuckers continually win awards for their abilities and knowledge? And did you know that all of the salmon we serve is wild, not farm raised? I invite you to join us for lunch or dinner and to reconsider us for placement on your list of Top 10 seafood restaurants in Seattle.

By far the best and biggest sandwiches and salads I have eaten west of NY! I am addicted to the sports themes and family-oriented meals, quite healthy too. They also catered my company meeting and it was delivered for free. Try them out.

This restaurant is consistently voted in the top ten of the best breakfasts in Seattle year after year by all kinds of people and publications. I believe it should be added to your site as well! (I am the webmaster for the site but I am a customer as well so my opinion is based on the food, service and great views, not just my job!)

This is by far the best and most authentic Chinese restaurant in Seattle. Every person I brought to this restaurant gives rave reviews about it. Their peking duck, claypot chicken with chinese sausage, and stir fry garlic peavine are pretty amazing. Dinner also comes with tapioca dessert.

I've always enjoyed my meals at Pomodoro, whether I'm in the mood for Italian pastas or Spanish tapas. Really flavorful food. Good selection of wines. And perhaps best of all – they are open late!
