About Seattle Shopping

Seattle Shopping

For shopping that's unique to Seattle, head to Pike Place Market, a historic shopping district that features a wide selection of foods and produce, craft vendors, and many art and antique galleries. Among the food stalls, you'll find fresh fruits and veggies, meats and cheeses, and coffee shops and bakeries are especially popular with shoppers on-the-go. In Pioneer Square, another of the city's old neighborhoods, shoppers browse refurbished storefronts for art, music, books, home decor, jewelry and gifts. National retailers are dispersed among several different shopping destinations downtown, such as the City Centre, Westlake Center and Pacific Place. Several of the suburbs offer interesting shopping, too. Known for its artistic spirit, Fremont has numerous specialty stores and a weekly Sunday market that features a variety of used and vintage goods, while Bellevue Square has a large, impressive selection of popular brands.
