7. Sedona Heritage Museum

The Sedona Heritage Museum takes you back to the early pioneer days of Sedona the minute you walk in the door and are greeted. The staff are knowledgeable about the displays and some are actually to be commended for having helped to add to them. The originality of the home has been kept intact, with one room, in particular, looking just as it was--the kitchen. The movie room is always a favorite, but not to be outdone by the famous cowboy room with memorabilia from pioneers that worked the land with good old fashioned American values! The barn with the apple sorter that really works is awesome, and the gift shop is my favorite last stop!

The museum is housed in an original homesteaders home with a good chunck of land surrounding it so you get a feeling for what it would have been like to be in Sedona 50+ years ago. Beatuiful views.
