SEDONA.   Having learned to make beer in Germany, owner Fred Krause and his family decided to test their knowledge in Sedona. Today, their microbrewery produces ales, lagers, porters, and stouts and also makes use of "spunding," a process of carbonation that allows for smoother taste. The casual place attracts a mix of locals and visitors, who come to try out the brews and catch up with friends. A pleasant outdoor patio satisfies most folks, and German-themed sandwiches and entrees are available. You'll also occasionally find live entertainment, and there's a second location at Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village (928-282-3300).   (© 10Best)
