6. La Albahaca

SANTA CRUZ. This elegant restaurant is located in a 1920s mansion built by Juan Talavera and decorated with antiques from the 1600's. The food is influenced by the Basque tradition, but the chef adds his own modern flair to each dish. Some of the specialties include seafood soup, grilled lamb chops, partridge braised in sherry and salad of carpaccio of codfish. Finish up with their famous chocolate pudding.   (© 10Best)
