COOPER LANDING.   "Alaska-sized portions served in a pioneer roadhouse' is the best way to describe Gwin's. The restaurant—located in a wooden cabin built in the 1940s—stays open round the clock in the summer to cater to the Russian River fishing crowd. The spot is famous for their smoked salmon chowder and their build-it-yourself "burger lineup." Baked scallops, huge rib eye steaks, and homemade desserts round out the menu. Casual attire.
