SOLDOTNA.   Fish, moose, bear—Scott Hanson has carved them all. This master craftsman always has several works in progress, and he welcomes visitors to watch him work. Ask to see pictures of the massive hand-carved carousel he worked on. Though Scott favors natural models, his is a custom shop and he can produce just about anything you might want.   (© 10Best)

Hanson's Custom Carvings is an excellent place to visit. It is very neat to see his talented carvers and himself creat a masterpeice with the chainsaw. Great fun for everyone all ages. The carvers are very easy to talk to and fun people to get to know.
