3. Sheffield Arena

This multi-purpose arena was awarded "Live! Venue of the Year" for four consecutive years. Artists of international stature like Paul Simon, Prince, Shirley Bassey, Tom Jones, and Barry Manilow have appeared here. The arena is one of the largest indoor venues in Great Britain and seats over 12,000 people. There is also an ice rink for special indoor ice skating events. As for sports, both Sheffield's professional basketball team, the Sharks, and its hockey franchise, the Steelers, call the Sheffield Arena "home."   (© 10Best)
