Built around 1500, Bishops' House is the oldest timber-framed house in Sheffield. The farmhouse sits on a hilltop in a local park with a grand view of the city. Exhibitions from 16th century life are on hand, and the inside of the house retains some of its original features. The house also hosts an exhibition on what Sheffield was like during Tudor and Stuart times, with other exhibitions exploring various aspects of local history themes.
