Located between the Sheffield city centre and Sheffield University, the Turner Museum of Glass has an intriguing display of about 550 pieces of glasswork. Pieces from famous glass designers from the 1920s to the 1950s are displayed and include the work of Frederick Carder, Simon Gate, and Edward Hald. Eighteenth century English drinking glasses and Roman glasses are also on display.   (© 10Best)
