This pleasant retreat is located just outside of the city centre. The parkland dates as far back as the 1840s, when the plan for its design was first implemented by the Dukes of Norfolk. This pleasant park is one of the only national parks to lie within a city boundary. The area was first open to the public in the latter part of the 1800s. Its spacious grounds contain Sheffield's city museum and the Weston Park Art Gallery. This is a great place to spend a restful afternoon.
