Chef Tessa Bramley has established a reputation for top notch cuisine with Old Vicarage, consistently one of Britain's highest-rated restaurants, and is now spreading the word with her own television show. Self-described as posh country cooking, Tessa relies on fresh produce along with Mediterranean and Asian influences to create masterpieces like fresh fish crusted with coriander and served with deep fried ginger and mango salsa, and salmon in pastry with tarragon. Excellent The food and wine here are unbeatable in the area. By far the finest quality you will find, and the host is great. A little pricey but you get what you pay for. Thoroughly recommended..
