10. Zouk

In the world of nightclubs, a couple of years in business is about the best you can hope for. Super-club Zouk, on the other hand, has managed to buck that trend. Thriving since 1991, the club has managed to stay fresh and has even expanded to include several separate spaces. The main part is often compared to the clubs of Ibiza (world party HQ!) with resident and guest DJs spinning techno, house and anything new and different that keeps everyone happy and dancing. Phuture attracts a slightly younger crowd, playing hip-hop, trip-hop and drum and bass; Velvet Underground caters to a more mature clientele with elegant velvet-draped walls, modern art, and an eclectic selection of music played at levels low enough for normal conversation. There's also an al fresco wine bar and a deli/snack bar. Each club has a separate cover charge, but if you pay the highest one first you can move freely between all three.   (© 10Best)
