7. Doc Cheng's

Named for a 1920s-era physician who may or may not have been all he's reputed to be (his legend is printed on the menu), this is a thoroughly contemporary restaurant with a modern take on pan-Asian cuisine. Combining a wide range of ingredients and cooking methods, the chefs produce successful creations such as tandoori ocean trout with wild rice risotto and smoked tomato coulis, and quinoa goreng with barbecue pork loin and mushrooms. Even dessert gets the international treatment: lemongrass crème brûlée with kaffir lime ice cream. A must for adventurous diners!   (© 10Best)
