Don't let the less-than-ideal looking location put you off – the interior of this much-praised restaurant is cozy and intimate with several different spaces, each carefully decorated and decidedly elegant. Chef Emmanuel Stroobant's cooking is complex and refined, with a few welcome twists on the classic French-Continental oeuvre. The menu boasts six different foie gras preparations; if you're feeling a little more adventurous try the slow braised boneless pig trotter with caramelized celeriac mousseline, shavings of black winter truffle and tempura of fine de claire oyster. Beef lovers will adore the 400-day aged Angus beef sirloin with oxtail confit crusted with bone marrow, and a 36-hour poached shank served with winter pot au feu vegetables.
