5. Saint Julien

Chef Julien Bompard has won several prestigious awards, every one of which he richly deserves. His Singapore restaurant provides a casually upscale experience, complete with engaging river and skyline views and classic French food. Start with oysters, pan-seared foie gras with morels and cognac sauce, or the signature beef tartar. Roasted rack of lamb with eggplant and tomato gratin, and seared scallops with champagne sauce and avruga caviar are just two of the magnificent dishes that earn raves.
