8. Sim Lim Square

HERITAGE DISTRICT.   A vast shopping center, with hundreds of electronics dealers crammed under one roof: six floors (390,000 square feet!) of PCs, digital cameras, cell phones, software, DVDs and more. For the best deals, head to the upper floors, and be prepared to haggle for the best prices, as competition is fierce among the vendors. You may not find all the big name brands, but it's a given that everything will be miles cheaper than anywhere else in town. Right across the street from Little India.   (© 10Best)

Don't shop at Sim Lim Sq! Don't shop at Sim Lim Sq or Lucky Plaze. Go to Funan Centre. You pay a bit more but they are honest and don't cheat or intimidate you. Don't shop at SLR PRO PTE LTD on 1st floor of Sim Lim. The shop is run by gangsters who call more members into the shop to intimidate you to buy their goods if you try to walk away. Don't even enter this shop for any reason!
