SIOUX FALLS. This East Eighth Street eatery sits on the banks of the Big Sioux River and serves some of Sioux Falls' best American fare. Specialties include pepper steak, tequila lime duck, and bourbon chipotle pork. Soups, sandwiches, and pasta dishes can also be had. When the weather cooperates, make sure to dine outside on the picturesque deck. The cozy dining room welcomes day-to-day meals and special events. Downtown dining at its best.

SIOUX FALLS. As its name implies, this Westside restaurant gains a strong portion of its popularity from its full menu, although its fashionable dining room doesn't hurt the cause either. As you enjoy the upscale, unpretentious ambience, feast on an entree of perfectly prepared fish or a hearty steak. For a change of pace, try a sumptuous pasta or a wood-fired pizza. An excellent wine menu adds dimension to any meal.

SIOUX FALLS. One of Sioux Falls' most established and well-regarded restaurants, Minerva's is an excellent choice for either social or business meals. Steaks and seafood figure prominently on the menu, as evidenced by chicken breast en brochette, pepper steak and pasta, filet Oscar, and lemon-pepper orange roughy. Attentive service distinguishes the restaurant as well. Lunch is available. Full bar.

SIOUX FALLS. Comfortable and fun, this restaurant and bar on the city's west side serves classic bar food, including steaks, burgers, and sandwiches. After you get your fill of the appetizing fare, sidle up to the bar and choose a cold one from the menu of more than 100 beers. As they say here: "Good food, Great friends and Good times."

The no-nonsense place doesn't stand on formalities – it just offers great, aged steaks, cooked to order. Appetizing cuts can be broiled or fried and are served with a simple salad. The warm dining room and unassuming servers ably complement every meal. Located in the Tea community.
