3. Sanaa's Gourmet Mediterranean

I, my husband, my daughter and her husband ate at Sanaa's this past Saturday...we all enjoyed it immensely!:):) My husband is Egyptian, so naturally he would enjoy the Middle Eastern Cuisine. I grew up in Ireland and let me tell you, I enjoyed every last morsel of the food at Sanaa's. It was scrumptious!!:):) When we go out to eat, we simply want good food at a reasonable cost and that's exactly what we found at Sanaa's. We prefer the more family oriented setting at Sanaa's and the ambience is most inviting.

I WILL go to Sanaa's again, and soon. We had enjoyed lunch there in the past, and finally had a free Friday last night to explore the buffet. NOTE: It is 12.95 per person, not $20, as a previous reviewer stated. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, was superb! My family, which included my 1-year-old grandson, enthusiastically devoured all the buffet had to offer. Compared to other mid-price local restaurants in the SF area, Sanaa's offers true gourmet fare at an incredible value. I also disagree with previous reviews which did not appreciate the homey and laid-back atmosphere. I. LOVED. IT. It feels like you are guest in Sanaa's home; and you know she lovingly and carefully created every aspect of that mean just for you. I cannot say enough good about this jewel of a restaurant. We are fortunate it is here.

By far the freshest, tastiest food in town.. great prices. everything is made fresh daily.. and the pastries are to die for...

Light and healthy but quite flavorful Mediteranean food. Friday nights are a must with the multicourse deal. Plan on attending again for sure.

The Sioux Falls restaurant world has been dominated by chain restaurants. Sanaa's is now one of a few privately owned restaurants that provides Sioux Falls a quality dining experience with an ethnic flavor. It is most welcome. I only wish that she was open for dinner on Saturday nights. One other benefit is that my wife cannot eat gluten. Sanaa's provides her with a number of gluten free alternatives that she enjoys. These dishes are not the dietary compromises that she gets in other local restaurants. I would recommend Sanaa's for anyone looking for something a bit different in a casual setting.

I had actually cut and pasted a detailed review of our Friday dinner experience, (3 adults and a toddler)...only to discover the review area is limited to 3000 letters! (Mine was 5023 letters long to be exact!) Sanaa's serves lunch daily with Friday night dinner by reservation only. What this wonderful restaraunt lacks in ambiance it more than makes up for with its' food. Because dinner is a fixed menu, be prepared to try new things! At $20 a crack (and $4 for a glass of wine) it isn't inexpensive, but compared to any other upscale establishment, it offers a fair value for the taste sensations that are provided. But for the the atmosphere, Sanaa's could easily be 5 stars!
