9. Schlitterbahn Beach Waterpark

SOUTH PADRE ISLAND.   Wet 'n wild, high-octane thrills, chills, and spills await the adventurous at South Padre's popular Schlitterbahn Beach Waterpark, where guests race down tube chutes, challenge the wave pool, laze on the Rio Ventura, or even play sand-court volleyball. The park also features a number of kid-friendly activities, including a five-story sandcastle. The south Padre Schlitternbahn waterpark was a big disappointment! No comparison to New Braunsfels Schlitterbahn or even Hurricane Harbor.
