PORT ISABEL.   Unassuming and completely without pretense, this friendly local fave is known up and down the island for delicious tacos. In fact, its corn flour shells are handmade using a comal. Indeed, Manuel's is a wise choice for lunch or breakfast, especially if "quick, easy, and tasty" are your criteria. Flatlander My wife and I have been going to Port Isabel and or the Island for about 12 years and Manuel's remains our favorite restaurant for breakfast or lunch. The big tacos are super and you can get them with any combination of ingrediants or plain. They are made on-site by a little ole Mexican lady in the back room.
