11. Melbourne Independent Filmmakers Festival

The Buzz -- Nicknamed the MIFF, this celebration of celluloid allows local filmmakers to show their products and gain exposure. Talent agencies and production reps intend to be on hand, and the two-day event includes screenings and seminars. One hundred percent of festival proceeds go to benefit Unconditional Love, Inc., a non-profit HIV+ patient care center.
