If you're looking for a Space Coast restaurant with a pedigree, Bernard's has been serving fresh fish and seafood since 1948. A family-run operation, Bernard's employs its own fishing fleet to bring Florida lobster, swordfish, grouper, red snapper cobia pompano and more straight from the water to the kitchen. If you go the fish route, ask your server to add a helping of their signature Indian River crab stuffing with lobster sauce – you won't regret the decision.

The food was delicious! The atmosphere was nice, a little crowded but well worth it. Service was superb! This is my new favorite restaurant in Cocoa Beach.

This place shares a common location with a bar & grill and a raw bar. Bernard's is fancier, the bar & grill more casual, and the raw bar of course very casual. They are all separately owned but are all connected to each through accesses within the same building. The bar even serves Bernard's customers as they wait to be seated. A great place for someone just arriving to town because you can try for Bernard's but if they are full you have the bar & grill and the raw bar to fall back on. The bar & grill (can't remember the name) is especially unique as it has more like a city pub atmosphere.
