9. Jake Baker's Lobster Shanty

Food was awful!!! Wife's pasta had no taste to it, the steak I ordered was mostly fatty and tough. Wouldn't recommend to anyone. Go to dixie crossroads!

Best coleslaw anywhere...terribly disappointed they won't give out the recipe! Vacationed in Cocoa for 35+ years and we always drove up to Dixie Crossroads, which is becoming a bigger waste of time every year, so went to Jake's as a local suggested it. Absolutely fabulous shrimp, conch alittle rubbery, alligator great, fish done correctly. Terriffic view!!! Dolphins regularly visit the area and the sunsets over the river are great! My kid loved feeding the fish in the river. Staff is good, but service is a bit slow for a family establishment. We drive 900 miles just to eat here and its a must with every trip to Florida!
