5. Ike's Corner Grill

The folks at Ike's will serve you what is very possibly the best burger in the South Carolina Upstate. But don't come if you're scared. These burgers are good, but they're also big. A handful for the average adult, it's not uncommon to see a fifth grader fight one of these babies for over half an hour. One additional hint: if you don't like chili on your burger, speak up because that's the way they come unless you specify otherwise. Ike's is five minutes from downtown but it's off the beaten path so stay vigilant. Easiest access is from Pine Street. Turn onto Isom, two lights then left on Boundary, right on Archer.
