This tree-lined historic area is noteworthy for its lovely potpourri of bungalows, prairie-Victorian mansions and prairie-style homes, some of which date from the late 19th century. The neighborhood, which can be reached by following Second Avenue west from downtown, is named after one of the area's first settlers. Of particular interest here are Patsy Clarke's Mansion, which is one of Spokane's most well known inns, and the Glover Mansion, the home of Spokane's founder. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places. (© 10Best) More Details for Browne's Addition Historic DistrictHours: Daily Type: Historic Sites, Sightseeing |
