2. Hoopfest

The Buzz -- This three-on-three round ball tournament, the largest in the world, has more than 140,000 players and spectators. Teams range from youngsters in 3rd grade on up, and there are Special Olympics teams as well. The 2009 Hoopfest gladly welcomes guest Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Spectators aren't left out, though – additional highlights include a barbecue, concerts, food and even shopping. Wear your walking shoes – there are about 400 courts, covering some 40 city blocks!
