DOWNTOWN.   The Onion is a restaurant located in the building that was once one of the city's grandest hotels, the St. Regis Hotel. The restaurant has recaptured some of the building's original turn-of-the-century charm, including carved alabaster light fixtures and an oak bar that dates from 1904. The visual focal point has to be the 1937 Harley Davidson sitting on a ledge inside. The menu boasts everything from salads, sandwiches and burgers to pastas and seafood.   (© 10Best)

We LOVE it!
My husband and I go to the Onion on the north side quite often. We always have excellent service. I love their "No Problem" motto. My favorite is the French Onion Soup---Yummy!

Another one downtown. Charming setting. A little boring, but you can't win them all. They have lots of soups, salads, and burgers. I have been here three times all three times service was non-existent. The food must not have been that good because I can't remember anything about it. I do remember a lot of garnish. If you want a nice burger for lunch and this is closest you could do worse, but if you want a real sit down place look elsewhere.
