5. Luna

This is one of Spokane's most upscale restaurants. Luna's yellow walls are decorated with a variety of artwork, and there is an open glass near the front entrance that displays a wonderful collection of fresh vegetables and fruits. The main dishes here include the likes of wood-roasted king salmon, yellow fin tuna and breast of duck served with a saffron-butternut squash purée. Based on only one dining experience. Nice setting, incredible wine list. One excellent waiter, alas, not mine. I dined alone and got little other than perfunctory attention. I had duck at their recommendation. Very fatty and not at all wonderful. The vegtables and mixed salad were very tasty. I'll certainly give it another try.
