9. Steam Plant Grill

DOWNTOWN.   As the name suggests, the Steam Plant is actually located in a converted plant that dates from 1915. Until the mid-1980s, the plant provided heat to downtown Spokane. Today, however, the Steam Plant serves great upscale pub grub, like balsamic chicken salad, gorgonzola-topped burgers and bratwurst mac and cheese. The Steam Room also has a good selection of porters, ales and stouts from the Coeur d'Alene brewing company.   (© 10Best)

Well the setting is interesting, located in the old steam plant grill that used to heat the downtown area, the service is lackluster to be nice, food is horrid, and the prices make you wonder why they get away with it. Menu is a mix of things. Burgers mostly. Again, fun to see the old steam plant, but if you are looking for good service and food skip it.
