SOUTH HILL.   Rockwood is one those neighborhood favorites where people gather to enjoy freshly brewed coffee, the newspaper and each other's company. The hardwood floors, down-home wooden tables and chairs, and big picture window combine to make you feel right at home, and the aromas make it almost impossible to leave. The owner/chef bakes some of the tastiest homemade croissants, turnovers, muffins, and Danishes around, and her chocolate croissants and apricot almond scones are wildly popular.   (© 10Best)
