5. Nights of Lights Festival

The Buzz -- One of St. Augustine's most popular events, the Nights of Lights, marks the winter holiday season with flair. The historic district and city's bay front shimmer under millions of lights making the area a holiday wonderland. In addition to the dazzling spectacle, the city keeps a full calendar of activities available to guests starting with the late November Grande Illumination ceremony and continuing with pursuits such as a festival of trees, historic reenactments, craft shows, concerts and more.
