DOWNTOWN. Comprised primarily of display cases within the Civic Center, this museum depicts Minnesota's history of amateur baseball. Prominent in the collection are uniforms from numerous hometown teams, along with sports equipment, artifacts and photographs of notable teams and important moments. Even Little League players are represented. The collection dates back to 1857, when amateur baseball began in Minnesota. Items are rotated in and out of the organization's archives.
