PROTESTANT CAY.   Christiansted's nearest beach is a 4-minute ferry ride away, and this hotel restaurant caters to beach-goers who don't want to return to town for food. The menu has a nice selection of green salads, chicken and shrimp salads, burgers, sandwiches, and omelets. Barbecued ribs, conch with lemon-butter, and grilled swordfish are also available.
